How is the Weibo Influence Level calculated?
Our Machine-Learning powered estimation of the level of influence of accounts that interact with your account. This is not only based on the number of followers of the account, but also how many accounts the account is following and other account behavior such as how often the account publishes content
- Fake/Low: These accounts have very little followers or behave like bots.
- Regular: Regular users with limited influence, usually up to hundreds of followers.
- Influential: Accounts with thousands of followers, possible KOCs.
- KOL/Brand: Accounts with over tens-of-thousands followers and traits of being a KOL or Brand.
